Sandcastles

I have come to realize that a source of major fear and upset for me this last year has not been solely from being excluded. It was finding out the exclusion has happened before and will likely happen again. That is what left me the most cynical, finding out I was just another wave in a cycle that I do not have much power to stop.

In reaction, I have been unkind to others being rude and distant, trying to show and warn them that what they make too will eventually be jumped on, trampled and swept away. This though as not solved anything and just created more strife. Leading to more displeasure and sadness.

Perhaps I really need to just move on from it then, and treat it as waves on the beach where castles can be built in the interim...
